Issues in first language acquisition revisited
While considerable SLA research has been devoted to language learning in a natural setting, there have also been efforts made to investigate second-language acquisition in the classroom. This kind of research has a significant overlap with language education, and it is mainly concerned with the effect that instruction has on the learner. It also explores what teachers do, the classroom context, the dynamics of classroom communication. It is both qualitative and quantitative research.
Learning and Teaching

Teaching is guiding and facilitating learner to study by some methods. However, the methods, your approach, and classroom technic are important to describe the understanding of learners learn.
A theory teaching will point the way to successful procedure on given a day for given learners under the various conststrains of special context of learning.
Your theory of teaching is your theory of learning. “stood on it’s head” it can be concluded that upon teaching we as a teacher obligate to make the learners understand not just share the knowledge only.
