Learner characteristics
Learner characteristics are things that learners have to have before
they begin learning something. They are motivation, anxiety, and learner
beliefs.

Motivation
Motivation is reasons, which support the learner to
learn and makes them learn that.

Anxiety
Anxiety is a feeling of the language learners that is
unfamiliar and uncomfortable, yet with that feeling they have desire to learn
the new language.

Learner
beliefs
Learner belief is a faith that the learners should
have because it will be useful and influence their way to learn.
Linguistic factors
Linguistic factors are language rules that are divided into first
language or mother tongue and second language. The different between them is
the system and the functioning.
1. Rule extension: when learning language sometimes the
learners need rule extension to explore the knowledge.
2. Analogy: for example an apple and apples, those are
the same thing but different usage.
3. Transparency principle: basic of knowledge to know the
different between some words that is similar.
4. Grammaticalization
5. Pronunciation phenomena: some words that have
difficult pronunciations.
Learning process
Learning process
is the needed of time and patience while someone learns something. It is
divided into four:
